hi there,
You need to upload the picture as a custom avatar. You've uploaded it as your profile picture, which is a different thing. If you click on the profile icon at the bottom of your post, you'll see it there on your member profile page  .
Note** .. you need to convert it to a .jpg or .gif image. The database will only accept valid GIF, JPG, or PNG images as avatars.
