I think this is a marvelous way to increase ones fitness. Especially for busy people who dont have time to go to the gym, etc. Call it "lifestyle fitness" if you want.

Becca: you will be putting on miles if your working in a hospital, I remember those shifts!!!

cc4: You can get one in a sporting goods store or at Sears or even WalMart I bet. The first one I had I ordered on line, it was very small and perported to be the most accurate one on the market, but alas I lost it. The one I have now I got at Sears for <20 buck and it works just fine even though it's a little more obvious. What ever you get just be sure it counts steps or you will have to measure your stride and divide your total distance by that to get steps, a bit of a hassle.
