Default re: GERD

Thank you doreen T and Deirdre for your responses.
Actually it was prepulsid that I was on before, I seem to remember that it had some side effects that were not pleasant. I am making a doctors appointment on Monday, when I see him I will ask about Motilium. Doreen T, I appreciate your advice, I believe that I've been ignoring this condition far too long. Not only is it uncomfortable, not to mention potentially embarrassing, it can also cause irreparable damage to a persons teeth and gums. I was very upset the day that my dentist first noticed the deterioration of the gum and enamel on two of my teeth. Luckily he caught it in time and put me on a regular flouride treatment. This also prompted me to see a doctor about it(GERD)for the first time. I wish that I could tell all of the young people out there about the kind of damage that you can do to yourself as a direct result of
"purging". Had I known at the time, I would have stopped immediately! Well maybe not, I seem to remember that I knew everything then!
Oh well, live and learn. Thanks again.
