Sounds a silly question.

My daughter made me a cup of tea the other day and used a packet of Splenda in my cup of rosy lee.

She delivered it with a reproof..."Dad, anything that fizzes when I put it in your cup can't be good for you"

Does anyone know why it does this?

I hope it is not bicarb. urghhhh!
