Yes, weight does tend to go up and down...but more down than up in the long run .

If you cut out the bars and stick to natural foods you might see better results. this is a way of eating focussed on good foods not meal replacement bars and other stuff like that.

If you stick to the plan you shouldn't need to count calories.
