I know exactly what you mean Wanda, but you can't expect non-recovering addicts to help you out. I too spent years saying that there's nothing wrong with sugar. DO NOT GET BETWEEN ME AND MY KIT KAT BAR!

What p's me off more is that it's a socially sanctioned addiction. Everyone is doing it on a daily basis and in public so it must be OK.

I live in an area full of junkies and alcoholics and there are loads of convenience stores that sell little else but sugar products and convenience foods. The condensed milk is kept behind the counter.

My truth is that when you use food for anything else than nourishment, you're a "user". It all seems quite benign at first and then it becomes deadly.

OK, I'll stop preaching to the converted!
