I wish I had remembered to take my measurements when I first began...

...but unfortunately I didn't begin measuring until I was 6 months in.

Measuring is a good thing, and I think you'll find many people in this forum that will recommend it. However, it's also important to get an accurate reading of your weight from time to time, I believe.

I know scales can be expensive. I don't even recall how much I paid for mine, but it was probably $200. It was a stretch for me too at the time, but I really, really wanted to have it to record my progress. I shopped the Internet and there were many options.

BTW, I assume you're not under a doctor's care for anything, otherwise I would suggest stopping by for a weigh in. You might also try the local YMCA or call your hospital and ask them if they would let you drop by for a weigh in.

Just some ideas.
