I just want to agree with LisaN. What you see after you've eaten the corn (ahem) is just the outfit the corn was wearing.

That said, if you want to eat corn, just be sure to count the grams and stay super-low carb with the rest of your food for the day. Pay attention to how the corn makes you feel. If it causes cravings, or makes you feel tired or causes you to retain water (evident on the scale the next morning) then it may be something you should chose to avoid in the future.

P.S. Eating your corn with a meal containing protein and fat will help lessen the blood sugar impact overall. The other components will slow digestion of the sugars in the corn.
