C'mon PJ, tell us how you REALLY feel ! LOL, just kidding.

Seriously, though, I agree. I knew that if I was going to lose weight and keep it off, I would have to change my eating and exercise habits for a lifetime, not just til I lost the weight.

Fortunately, with Atkins, I feel like I it is something I CAN do for a lifetime. I tried Low Fat/High Carb "diets" before and I was so hungry, tired, shaky and miserable, I couldn't stay on them for months, let alone for life!

I haven't yet investigated other plans mentioned in this forum because I want to give Atkins the best possible chance of working, but whatever the plan, it HAS to be doable for a lifetime, or it just isn't a valid plan.

I'm quite sure one would gain weight rapidly once they went off any balanced diet plan they were trying, regardless of what type. Again, that is why finding a plan you can stick with forever is just as important as the plan's use in getting the unwanted pounds off to begin with.
