Personally, i don't think you need to. But if I were you, i would maybe ease into it, as your vacation goes on. You will be able to tell as time goes on, how you are feeling with them. I allowed myself to order pancakes at a resturant the other day - the first time in 2.5 months that i have eaten carbs. And when 3 came, i ended up only eating 1 - i didn't feel sick - just really full. So although i was allowing myself a 'cheat' I didn't want to overdo it - and i felt pretty good afterwards. I think if you start with the carbs before, it isn't so much of a vacation thing - it might prompt you to fall completely off the wagon...
