I hear ya buddy. Sometimes I think that the part of my brain that controls appetite needs a tune up. My appetite fluctuates like CRAZY!!

I also agree with those who said you eat more when you're tired. I spent many years working 2 jobs, and I was always tired and hungry, and overweight. It was all I could do to keep going, and had no emotional strength or extra will to diet.

Another thought; if you're HOME with illness, it may be boredom. I find that if I'm home, and off my regular schedule, I can just fall into the habit of eating more; I'm so close to the fridge :-) I wish I could say I do this all the time, but I also try drinking a HUGE glass of water when I'm in one of those huge appetite phases. It works quite well.....if I can just remember to do it regularly.

Eating phases are interesting, and I NEVER have a whoosh afterward!!!
