Thank you, Doreen, for clearing that up for me . I thought I was doing a good thing by getting as much fiber as I could every day, including using unprocessed wheat bran sprinkled (not in big quantities, mind you) on salads and in dishes to up the fiber . The only bad thing is I grew to like it . Oh well, live and learn - and thanks for the info! This may make meal planning much simpler if I'm not obsessing over getting 25 grams of fiber in a day .
