Welcome to Keto breath!

Yes, this is normal, and means you are in ketosis. One way to deal with it is to make sure you drink AT LEAST your 64oz of water. I drink about 96oz a day and that works for me. It dilutes the ketones and keeps the odour under control.

Most gum and mints have carbs in it - sugar free gum has 1 carb. I have found 'frisk' mints here in canada - they are small, but powerful, and i think they only have about .2 carbs each. besides the water, they might help?

Another thing to do is chew something like parsley. In fact green veggies generally will help with the keto breath.

In time you will actually look forward to having it...a sure sign the old fat burning furnace is in full swing ;)

know the feeling

I found Eclipse Flash strips. They're like those Listerine strips you set on your tongue. They have 0 carbs. The cinnamon seems to help for awhile. I can't find any 0 carb gum.
