Atkins books DANDR or new

Does the new Atkins for Life book have all the background info that is quoted from the DANDR book? I thumbed through it and it looked like recipes(fine but..) and success stories. not what I'm looking for. I ordered the DANDR from the Atkins website and have still not received it grrrr

Is the Atkins for Life book worth having?

My opinion, if you are starting out and/or wanting information on how to do Atkins, get DANDR. The new book (Atkins for Life) doesn't at all replace it. I think it's more for motivation while losing those final few pounds, or menu ideas for maintenance. Atkins for Life is a good book, I'm glad I have it, but if I could only have one or the other DANDR is the one.

I agree. THe DANDR book looks like the "bible" to me.

I can get great recipes from here lol.

I cancelled my Atkins web order and ordered from Amazon.
FYI Netrition site sent my order with no problems. I can really recommend the lc tortillas. But I pan-fry them to make a crispier feel. Excellent to pack for lunch-tortilla & cheese/chicken. yummy

I have both, but DANDR is is must in my opinion, Atkin's for Life isn't.
