Cream Q

I keep hearing so many people talking about using cream to make things taste better. What kind of cream is it, exactly? Can you get it at the local supermarket, or do you order it online from a LC store????

Thanks for your help! :D

Hi Starr-STL

I don't know which recipes you read but my guess is that they are referring to heavy cream that you can buy in any grocery store. Depending on where you live the choices usually include Half and Half, light cream, whipping cream, and heavy cream. Heavy cream has the highest fat content and consequently the lowest carbs. We use cream in place of milk to cut carbs. If the heavy cream is too heavy you, you can dilute it water.
Hope this helps and good luck!
