The 3 hardest things

Hello Fellow Cave Dwellers,

Please help me out.

What would you say were the three hardest things about trying to follow a traditional high carb, high processed food diet?

What are the three hardest things about staying on a diet of all natural, wrapped and served by Mother Nature, diet?

dunno about 3 things for each, but personally I think that on a high carb diet it's hard to avoid high fat foods (burgers, fast food etc), as well as sweets, and on a high fat diet it's reversed - I find it hard to resist sweet fruits. the latter is due to the traditional human diet - years of eating said hard-to-avoid sweets has landed me with a sweet tooth that's a pain to ignore!

Hi Rodney,

If you're talking about being on a diet eating high carb, low fat, the hardest thing for me was the crummy type of food "allowed" on the diet....low fat everything tastes like plastic or rubber or, in the case of salad dressings, like vinegar. I was always looking forward to the day when I could eat "normally" again.

The hardest thing about lowcarbing was getting free of the low fat brainwashing and realizing that most of my high carb eating was for convenience, as in fast food or packaged meals. Once I got past those road blocks, I quickly realized that this woe is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
