To Little Calories??
I have a question.....
I am doing really good on my carb count, I was told to keep my carbs under 30, by my doctor... I am on average staying around 25-28 carbs... Some days r lower, somedays r abit higher, but for the last week and a half never about 30... I was also told not to worry about calorie intake(by the same doc)... However I have been keeping track of my fat, calorie and carb intake, just as a record for myself... and have noticed I seem to be waaaaaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaayyy low on calories.... averaging about between 700 and 900 carbs.... My question is isnt that like way low on calories? Like starvation level? I mean I seem to be eating all the time, however my calories arent that high, isnt that really bad? Please help? Just want to know if thats ok, still a few weeks away from my next Dr appt. Thanks for your time.... Jacy :spin: |
Jacy,
Why don't you post a typical day's menu so we can see where you're at. Sounds like to few calories to me.... Other ideas in the meantime; eat some avacado or walnuts. That will add some fat and calories to your diet, but hardly any carbs. Plus, they are good fats. The walnuts also have Omega-3s which are crucial to good health. Carole :) |
