Converting Favorite Recipes. . .??
So, is there any reason I can't take my own favorite recipes (namely a cheesecake I love) and convert them by using Splenda or other LC ingredients where needed?
For the cheesecake, I'm thinking it's nothing more than cheese, eggs, sugar (which would b/c Splenda - cup for cup), vanilla &, for mine, lemon juice. If I substitute a toasted nut crust instead of the graham cracker crust (probably using Karen's recipe, which looks great), wouldn't that be all I need to worry about? (Counting all carbs, of course. . .) Is there something I'm missing? :confused: Thanks for any help! -Ann |
