IF YOU COME OUT OF KETOIS IS THE ONLY WAY BACK IS TO DO INDUCTION AGAIN? oopps sorry for the caps....not shouting. :)

You don't necessarily need to do a full blown induction unless you think you need it to control cravings and get your habits back into check. If you come out of ketosis, the easiest way to drop back in is to take a few days of low level carbs (30 or below should do it) and you should be back in fat burning mode.

Just out of curiousity... are you sure you're out of ketosis (like ate a piece of cake :rolleyes: ) or might be according to the sticks? If it's according to the stick and you're doing everything right, you may not be out of ketosis. Those are infamously unreliable and could be altered by defects, how much water you drank, fat you ate, vitamins, etc.

If ya fell off the wagon a bit, just pick yourself up and eat a steak!

Ketosis
 
I have been in induction for 3 wks and use the strips, does anyone know which color they should be? I have been on the color right below the moderate level. Is that good enough? I have been stuck on losing pounds for 1 week but clothes are getting looser. Does that make sense? appreciate any response.

Anything pink at all is a sign of ketosis. Generally, if you get a dark purple reading it means you are not drinking enough water. Generally lightest pink and dark pink mean about the same thing!

I prefer to go by the losin' measure. A lot of low carb plans do not work off the concept of ketosis, so you can lose without it as well. If it's working, it's working.
