Toasted Soy Beans = Soy Nuts?

I grabbed some toasted soy beans at the farmers market today. I'm not a nut fan, but I really like these. On fitday, the closest thing listed is "soy nuts." This is the same thing, right? Since toasted corn = corn nuts?

They're really tasty, but not so good that I'd be able to binge on them. ;) 1/4 cup is plenty. In that 1/4 cup: 6 g fat, 8 g protein, 7.8 grams of total carbs including 4 g fiber. Not bad.

Hi Kristine:

Yep, you are right. Those guys are quite tasty roasted.

Now I have to comment - you're not big on nuts and you don't like mayonnaise. Pass them all my way dear girl. :D  On second thought, maybe just the mayo.

 If anyone throws any my way, I'll happily send them over to you. ;)

There are several LC staples that I dislike: mayo, nuts and steak! :daze: The latter saves me a few bucks. ;)
