Protein Shakes

Can somebody please recommend a Protein Shake. I have been using the Atkins Shakes and I believe they are causing my stall. I enjoy a shake every couple of days when I am not very hungry.

Any suggestions, brands, where to buy????

Thank you,

Marla

I've tried 2 brands that were good - one is Soldat's Whey To Go (I think the brand is the right name but I know the product is the right name) which is pretty good but very basic 100% whey protien shake (which means you might want to add some sweetener if you like it sweet) but the vanilla bean is very authentic tasting. Also, I've bought EAS which is also pretty good.

Hope that helps,
Tam

I prefer to create my own protein blends rather than buy a retail product. That way I can control exactly what goes into them. I suggest you check out http://www.proteincustomizer.com/ or http://www.proteinfactory.com/

Protein Powder Carb Count

I was a Wal Mart this weekend and saw the EAS Protein Powder. I did not buy it because of the carb count. Am I looking for the right product? How do you drink the a shake and stay low carbs?

EAS has two types of shakes... one is NOT low carb and the other is. Look for "Carb Control" on the front... and be sure to read the label! I find the EAS carb control shakes very good. They are "thin" but I have not had any problems with using them now and then and they taste good.
