Does anyone know how much 1 oz is?
I am trying to figure out just how many Tablespoons are in 2 oz of cream cheese. Anyone know?

In this case, 1 oz. equals 2 tablespoons, so 2 ounces would equal 4 tablespoons.
With cream cheese, I find it easier to measure by the ounce than the tablespoon. ;) |
Is it mass or volume its asking for? An ounce is 28.35g (mass)
I know there's 8 oz in a cup (250mL), so there for an oz would be 31.25mL |
Thanks!!! I buy my cream cheese whipped and I never could figure that ounce thing out!!!
|
Having the cream cheese whipped makes a bit of difference since the whipping adds air to the cream cheese, so 1 oz. could be a lot more than 2 tablespoons and would probably be more like 3 or 4 tablespoons by weight.

Step by step...
Okay...
There are 8 ounces of whipped cream cheese in the container. 1 serving is equal to 2 tablespoons. There are 11 servings per container. 11 servings x 2 tablespoons = 22 tablespoons There are 22 tablespoons of cream cheese in the container 8 ounces divided by 22 tablespoons = 0.36 ounces per tbsp. Each tablespoon = 0.36 ounces 1 ounce divided by 0.36 = 2.7 2.7 tablespoons of cream cheese = 1 oz. *phew* ;) |
LOL :daze:
Thanks so much!! I couldnt get my brain to work tonite!! |
