Kibbles,
If anything, you may not be eating enough. I have noticed that sometimes the more I eat the faster my weight loss. There is a rule of thumb on calories however I am not sure if I have it right. I know we are suspose to eat 10-12 X our weight or our goal weight in calories. Somebody out there can you clarify? Anyway, i do not count calories. There is a great website called fitday.com which can do it for you. So far, I have not had the paitence to use it but I really need to start since my weight loss has slowed the past 2 months. Kib.. you have only been on the plan for a little over a week and you have lost 10 lbs. You are definately doing something right! |
Shoot for 10-12 times your goal weight in calories. I agree, I think you're not eating enough. You should add some more vegetables (3 cups a day).
Fitday is great, but it does take some dedication. It can be a real eye opener, though. Every now and then I'll still be amazed at the amount of calories or carbs I'm eating when I thought I was being good. Things can sneak up on you... :p Also, beware the advantage bar - they affect people differently, but some find they contribute to stalls. You don't seem to be having that sort of problem, though! :cheer: |
I agree. More veggies, less "fake" foods. Pork rinds for lunch isn't the best choice...there's very little protein or other nutrients in them. They're fine for a snack, but not for a meal.
I think you may be a little low on the protein side as well. You're doing great on the water intake, though. |
