Thanksgiving is just Around he Corner!
 
Just wondering if any of you have a plan for getting thru Thanksgiving...

1) will you break plan for the meal? the day? the week? then get back on the wagon?

2) will you stay on plan?

Thanksgiving will be at my house so I do have control over most of the menu.

I expect to be 99% on plan. I know will have a spoonful of dressing.
It's an old family recipe and it just isn't Thanksgiving without it.

Everything else I can make SB legal.

I will send home leftovers with everyone so no temptation in the house afterwards.

I am beginning to plan my menu this week. Will post it when its finished.

What is everyone else doing? Lets share tips and recipes.

I'm going to eat what I want within reason. That's how I do SB anyway. My big ole' philosophy is:

This is the way I will eat for the rest of my life. If I cannot adapt the plan to my lifestyle it will not work. I eat legal SB foods all the time. I like to because I feel so good. BUT if I really want a piece of cheesecake I'll have it. I don't do it every day, or every week. But for me knowing I can have it if I really want to makes me less likely to eat it. I guess it's the lure of the forbidden thing. If I CAN'T have it I really want it.

When I first started SB no illegal foods passed my lips for the first 2 months. Now I know what works for me so I'm not as strict. I'm losing 1 to 2 pounds every week so it's working for me.

I love stuffing so I'll be eating some. Next day I will just not have any starchy carbs. :D
