Tea and Insulin

I just read an article about tea causing a spike in insulin.
Passing it on for your enjoyment.

Actuallty, that is an article about "Wine seems protective against dementia". It only mentions tea at the end. Perhaps another page of the same publication?

Tea contains theobromine which is comparable to caffeine in many of its effects, so it makes sense that it could elicit insulin too. However, it is beginning to be believed that tea contains flavinoids that are powerfully protective against many cancers. Like many foods, it's a balancing act of good effects and not so good effects.

It's a good point for people who are looking for reasons for unexplained stalls.

Here's another connection between tea drinking and good bone density. http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0602/gezunt.html
