Beginnin To Understand

I managed to monitor meself for today (4th day) so far. No ravings...no hunger pangs. Read posts at `Colesterol and heart dieseases' and feeling relieve.
I am using this site to analyse the food I ate http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~food-lab/nat/mainnat.html and I just join up with http://www.fitday.com/ . Doreen thanks fa sharing..

I feel more motivated today that I wanted to loose 50 lbs but I do wanna be realistic. Is it possible I can weight 125lbs again at me age???

hi Tama,

You sure sound motivated to me .. :D .. Those food counters will really help you to see where the carbs are!

I'm not sure if you actually have a copy of Dr. Atkins' book the "New Diet Revolution"?? I'm sure it's probably hard to get in Malaysia .. It really helps to have the book, or at least some reading and detailed instructions about lowcarbing. Here are a few links to some good reading and information that you might find helpful.50 lbs isn't impossible to do ... but it might be helpful right now at the start to just make mini-goals, say 10 lbs at a time. That makes it seem so much more achievable. I am in the middle of trying to lose at least 65 lbs. myself ... I've lost 30 so far. I don't dwell on the remaining 35 to 40 lbs. Instead, I keep my sight on the next 10 lb goal... I want to get below 180. Then, my goal will be to get below 170. --- and so on.

Hope this helps, take care .. :)

Doreen
