Why I came back...

Last month, my ex-husband (and his wife) did a search for my username (it's my email username too) and found my posts here. After signing up as a member, he searched for my posts and then confronted me on one about our son and the possibility of lowering his sugar intake to help with a hyperactivity problem.

I understanding that this is a public forum. I guess I still felt a little violated that he'd go through the trouble to dig up dirt on me. Especially in a place that I've always felt safe and supported. For awhile I was reluctant to post again.

But after a couple of weeks giving it thought, I've decided that the support of my wonderful new husband and all of you is much more important than what these two people (who have too much free time in their hands if you ask me) think.

So.... I am back to posting. :spin:

That does seem like a violation, even though, yes it is a public forum. I think you should talk to our handi dandi webmaster, Wa'il however and change that user name of yours, it won't be so easy for them to look ya up.

You can either just click on the line at the bottom of every post "report this post to a moderator" and ask to have your posting name changed. Or send an e-mail to webmaster~lowcarber.org Change the ~ to the usual "at" sign for e-mails.

I think that it was despicable of the ex to do that. But it can be dangerous to use your real name or reveal too much of your personal details on a public forum. You never know who is lurking around on boards.

We're glad you're back - whatever name you choose to use. You've done a great job of losing the weight.
