my bf% scale is stalled

I have one of those tanita scales that weighs and takes body fat %. Even though I have lost 20 pounds my bf% has not changed in 3 monthes and I find that hard to believe as I am doing BFL workouts and not overdoing the cardio. My clothes fit better, I am down 2 sizes. I have a pair of calipers but they are hard to figure out and have gotten %'s between 53 (eek) and 34%. Is it possible to lose 20 pounds of muscle? Any suggestions? Thanx mucho -- Toni

Sure it's possible - you'd probably have to be low fat / low calorie eating though ;)

BF Scales are as accurate as other methods of measuring BF (with the exception of hydrostatic testing and an autopsy ;) ) - that is 'not very accurate'.

Let how you feel and how your clothing feels be your guide. Stress over a piece of metal/plastic isn't something you need!
