Wendy's Chicken BLT Salad
Hi all,
I would like some help with the carb count for Wendy's Chicken BLT salad. I just love this salad and it's sooooo convienient. I don't use the honey almonds or the prepackaged dressing. Instead I use a creamy garlic parmesan dressing. The question is . . . will the whole salad be over the top re carbs or what? If not - I'm going to eat this every day. Ingredients are: Romain lettuce - 1.5 cups Shredded Cheese - 2 tbsp Bacon bits - 1 tbsp Cucumber - 4 slices Itty Bitty Tomatoes (about 5) Chicken - 2 to 2 oz Thanks in advance :wave: |
I eat this salad every work day for lunch (I k now not very imagentive, but hey I like it). I have my nutrional information at work (I am at home now for the holidays) but here is what I remember: Without croutons and tomatoes it is about 5-6 carbs (my questimate) for the salad. The nutirional information puts it at 10 carbs with tomatoes (still without croutoons). While I like tomatoes, I don't like them enough to use up 4-5 of my carbs eating them! I get the ranch dressing instead, and it is about 5 carbs for the packet. I beleive the blue cheese dressing is lower in carbs - but yeck, I don't like blue cheese. :)

I really dont know the carb count in them but i know they are great... I never have been able to finish a blt salad from wendys... so i usualy guess about 3 -4 carbs inclucding the bluecheese dressign i have... thats just guessing... i know they are great. :D .
