Best protein shake ever
Well, I have been experimenting with my protein powder (Aria Women's Protein, vanilla and chocolate) to make a really good shake, and I found a winner!
In blender: four ice cubes (crush first) two scoops Vanilla Aria protein (any "vanilla" flavored protein powder will work, unsweetened of course) 1/4 tsp. cocoanut extract 1/4 tsp. pineapple extract 1/3 cup heavy cream 2/3 cup cold water 2 packets Splenda Blend all this together until "frothy" and poor in a large glass. perfect Pina Colada protein shake to start your day! :D Sans rum, of course. ;) -Shelly |
Wow!
Hi Shelly!
That sounds great! I need to get pineapple extract...as soon as I do I will give it a try. Thanks for giving a detailed description!! You're the best! Hugs, Carrie  |
Aria Protein Shakes
LOVE them!!! Since I follow a "less"fat Atkins program these are GREAT.
Would love to hear from more people that use this product here! N |
Optimum Nutrition has a Pina Colada shake. 3 carbs per serving, 22g protein.

Aria Womens Protein shake mix is the one I use also. It actually TASTES good, (or neutral), and keeps me FULL for 4 hours or so!!! (a miracle)
I use unsweetened soymilk, vanilla or regular 2 scoops powder 2 ice cubes 1 packet of Splenda ...then I fool around with any number of ingredients ...some blueberries or strawberries ...some extract like vanilla or almond ...a little plain yogurt ...a little tofu or wherever your imagination takes you, even coffee, (if I buy some instant) OH!!! AND I WANT TO TRY IT WITH SOME VANILLA OR CHOCOLATE PUDDING MIX ADDED!!!! Doesn't that sound TOTALLY delicious? These are filling, low calorie, and tasty!!!! |
I have all the ingredients except that brand of protein shake, but
I'll try it with the one I have. |
