Yet another Kiwi

Gidday everyone.

My name is Chris. I'm 43 years old and live in Auckland, New Zealand along with my husband, 3 teenage children and 3 cats (certainly a house-full!) :D

I started low-carbing in June last year and I'm well on the way to my goal losing almost 50lbs to date.

I've been fighting my weight all my life and have tried (and failed) with all sorts of "diets". I'm so grateful that I've discovered low-carbing as I can see that I'll be able to eat this way for the rest of my life.

I'm looking forward to becoming an active member of this community and getting to know you all.

All the best
Chris

Hi Chris. It's great to see another kiwi around here :) I'm from Invercargill, and have also just started posting here recently, although I've been LCing since July.

Congratulations on the 50 pounds - way to go!

Tara

A Kiwi Can.....

Hi Chris

You have done really well on L/C so far!

You will love this forum for support, ideas, receipes and lots lots more. I joined in March and am on everyday checking out various things. :daze:

Tara... WOW almost at goal. Our stats are very similar actually.. I was 264 when I started too, but have a long way further to go. I am not planning on going as low as you are. I have a large frame and my DH likes me to be a bit "soft" ;) I know I can maintain 200lbs and look good at that weight. Hope to see you around here more often.

Hi Anne... thanks for the receipe the other day.
