Funny Smell...
 

Today is day #3 of Atkins induction and after I came from lunch I noticed this funny smell. Let me clarify that I shower everyday and keep myself very clean. Its weird, I think its me, it's like my skin smells weird. Have any of you had this happen?

I have heard of ketones in the breath causing a "fruity" smell, or even "metallic". Some food that you eat, particularly stronger smelling foods - eg. garlic, cabbage, etc. can release smells through your sweat glands (I'm not sure how much of them you'd have to eat for this to happen, though!!)

How much water are you drinking?

It is probably the ketones you are smelling. Drinking LOTS of water helps "dilute" the smell that ketones cause. :)
