Susan's (Smullen) workout
 
Here's my first workout log. I just started trying to get a workout routine going. I didn't have anything in particular that I do regularly yet. Last week I started with working out by playing ddr for an hour each time. Fun and a good sweat. Yesterday I tried starting the 10 years younger in 10 hours Callanetics dvd. Got through the warm up, stomach and legs then my dvd player messed up. So today when I cleaned the player and tried it froze the picture within a few minutes and just wouldn't go on. Well I didn't let that stop me. I was determined to get a workout in today so I put it on the exercise on demand channel and did Leslie Sansone's 3 mile walk workout. Boy was I sweating. I got through the whole thing although I had to pause a few times on the leg lifts towards the end. Not sure if it has to do with my fibromyalgia, the weight or just a combination of both it started to feel really weak and sort of burning sensation. Kinda hard to explain. It didn't just feel like I was tired from the moves. Anyways before the workout I measured myself to face the hard truth and look forward to some changes. I won't measure myself again for a week. So here it goes:

So there's the ugly truth :lol: but there's also my motivation to get my sh** together :D

Today I tried to do the callanetics on another dvd player but it stopped again in the same spot. Must be the dvd :( . I got to do the warm ups, stomach and legs again though. So I felt a little cheated out of a workout so I did the Leslie Sansone 3mile workout again (47 min.). I got a good sweat out of it :hyper: . Glad I got it done cause I sure didn't want to do it :lol: . I did but I didn't :confused:

Today I don't plan on doing a regular exercise. I'm just going to hope I get a good enough workout going to the club with my BFFs and dancing my ass off....And my waist too:lol: :lol: :lol: hopefully.

So we'll have the results in the morning if it works out ;)

Back to reality :D . All weekend I didn't exercise so Monday I had to put myself back on track. I looked around on the exercise on demand channel and decided to do a 10min ab pilates workout and then I did the 3 mile walk with Leslie Sansone again (47min). I like that workout. Makes me feel like I'm getting in some good cardio work done. Don't feel like my body has changed and tomorrow is my measurement day. Is one week too soon? Hmm, I'm going to do it weekly anyways :lol:

Had a good day I think. Started off pretty busy so I didn't think I was going to get in a workout at all today. I did the 10 min ab pilates this morning and then I had to do a lot of driving around which took up the time I try to workout but I managed after work to go for a 45min walk. I'm glad I at least got that in. It wasn't as intense as the 47min 3 mile walk I do with the dvd but it was good.

Today I woke up to find a went up a pound. UUghhh...It's about that TOM. So I pushed myself some today. Wasn't planning on it, it just sort of happened LOL. I did the (47min) 3 mile walk with Leslie Sansone workout early afternoon. Then my niece wanted to walk again this evening so I got an hour walk this time. I hope I see something down on the scale tomorrow. I must say tho I already feel like my clothes are fitting better. Not enough to go down a size LOL but more comfortable. So glad I've been exercising more regularly.

I haven't worked out since Friday and I finally forced myself to do something today. I played the ddr for an hour and got a good sweat going. By the end I just couldn't lift my feet anymore. My stamina was gone LOL. Hopefully tomorrow I won't have to fight myself that much to get a workout done. Tomorrow is also my measuring day but I don't expect much of a change being that I really haven't been working out. BUT u never know :D

Well this is good, I didn't think there would be any change at all. I didn't exercise much for the week and my weight change isn't much different than last wednesday. I weighed in at 202 lbs. this morning. I'm going to workout today tho. I need to stay focused :D

Did pretty good yesterday. Ate well and for exercise I did the 10 min ab pilates and then the (47min) 3 mile walk video. In the evening I tried to take a walk with my niece but it didn't work out. Had the kids and they just complained so it only lasted 10 min. but hey it was something and it paid off. I went down to 200.6 as of this morning. What helped to is TOM is finally gone. So I hope to get that same workout in today. Wish me luck cause I'm feeling real tired right now but it's only 8:10 in the morning. Good luck to all

So I've been rather lazy and YES I need to tell my inner princess to get her ass in gear :lol: I have some change in measurement but I can just imagine how better my results would've been if I had just worked out. So I'm off to do them now :D :D :D

Even with the ups and downs I have made a great accomplishment. I'm glad I kept track of this to look back on cause it's so easy to look on a bad day and think your not getting anywhere fast enough but to be able to look at it in a whole and see YES, I've come a long way. It encourages me to keep doing what I'm doing. I WILL get to goal. Thank you all for your support :D :D :D

Okay so I finally got my ass in gear today and worked out. Wasn't too bad. I did the 3 mile w/leslie sansone dvd and 10 min ab pilates.
