Thought someone might answer the chat question! I just thought it might be nice to have real-time chats at specific times and days to get rel-time answers.

The chat feature on this board is rarely used. Why that is, I don't know!

What you might try is setting a date and time for a week in advance and start advertising it to get people interested. Keep in mind that the forum spans many different time zones, so figuring out a time that would be the most conducive would help.

The chat feature was discontinued a while ago ... in over a year it was rarely used. As Karen pointed out, it was difficult to organize an hour that was suitable for the most time zones. As well, it caused some forum functions to be really slow.

Setting up Chats

I'm wondering if it would work to set up chats for maybe two different times. Maybe 9:00pm central time which would also give the eastern time zoners a chance to jump in (10:00pm their time), and the same for Pacific and Mountain times (9:00pm and 10:00pm respectively).
For say Friday or Saturday evenings?
What do you think?
