Guess I Should Just Confess in Advance...

I'm visiting my parents' place this weekend and it'll be candy central.

At least there will be several dozen hard boiled eggs.

Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday weekend!

it's it kinda like the word but

If I say it, it means disregard everything I've said or done before. Well, you don't have to confess. You know that you are going to break your eating plan. You also know that it is easy to get "back on the wagon" as long as you jump back quickly. Sugary things will always be around you, it is your chioce whether you take the first bite, but it is hard to stop from taking the second, third, etc. Isn't that why this way of life is so good, no more cravings. I hope that you ate exactly what you wanted and that you jump right back on the wagon. No confessions or apology necessary kid.

Thanks. ;) My usual MO would have been to mindlessly eat everything in sight, regardless of whether or not I wanted it, or if it even *tasted* good. But this time, I had chocolate, but only the really good stuff, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing about LCing is that it's drastically lowered my "saturation" point - a little bit was enough. I made up for it by taking their dog for a few walks. Then I cancelled it out again with beer. :D

No problem, though; I'm back on track today. It's about making good choices most of the time, not perfect choices all the time.

Good for you

I'm proud of you. I'm a firm believer that I'ld rather have a little something that is really good than a whole bunch of so, so, stuff. Now I haven't always been this way. My mother taught me this, the good stuff is always at the end of the line, don't fill up on the potatoes and the bread, find the seafood and the prime rib. It's always at the end of the buffet.
Congradulations for only stepping of the wagon with only one foot and not getting your foot stuck and the rest of you being sucked off at full force. Good for you.
Yours Truely Jo-Ann
