exhausted

Hi,
I have looked to a degree through previous posts about this so not to bore you all. Very upset about this; INto week four, lost about 8lbs. Thast's great!
But I wake up exhausted and this lasts for quite awhile. Taking extra potassius(100mg) magnesium
500mg) along with others. Drinking a great deal of water. Think I am eating plenty. Usually
eggs in am(maybe bacon. Some meat in afternoon.
Night small salamaybe some brocolli fish or meat.
PLease help! I feel like now if I put my head down I would sleep. Thanks

Allen, Potassium should actually be supplemented at 400mg until you reach maintenance. You can take 4 of those pills or get something called 'NuSalt' that you sprinkle on your foods in place of table salt. You can also mix 1/8th of a teaspoon w/ a very large glass of water once a day.

More potassium will help with the fatigue - assuming you are a) eating enough and b) getting sufficient sleep.

Thanks,
It says 550mg potassium Gluconate yieling 90
mg pottassium. If this is the case, from what you are saying I am not taking nearly enough. I will
up that. Nu Salt; can I get this in a regular supermarket of in health food store.
Sleep is okay. Wake up often because I drink so
much water. Try to stop by 6pm, but that doesn't help much ion that respect.
Back to the Potassium. Are there supplements on the market that would have more potency. Take so many vitamens now I would like to cut backa bit
rather than add another 4 pills. Thanks you so much for yur help. Guess you can tell i am quite disturbed by this. I'm going to take another look
at what Eades says about potassium.

Allen, here's a link to the Eades FAQ on Potassium:

I read in another thread that you can get a larger dose of potassium but it is usually kept behind the counter - with the ketostix ;)

Nusalt is usually availabe in your grocery store - where you'd find the table salt.

Hi again Nat,
Week 4; light headed, tired. Got the pottassium
supplements and the no salt. Took two yesterday
and one today so far. Guess I will start with the salt. I read in a previous post of yours that said
daily intake of Potassum is 1800-2400 mg. How can I do that . I am trying to eat much brocolli and
soem salad, but that amount seems tough. I don't really want to give up on this woe, but this feeling is lousy. Two weeks into plan I actually felt better with more energy. I did read the explanation by Eades; he had a particular name for it, I believe.
Still it is greatly disturbing. I don't think I could finish a round of golf and that's not good.
Any other thoughts by you or anyone else would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks
Allen
