I have questions!!

Is this the right diet for Me?? I am 5'7", 145 lbs. My goal weight is 130 lbs. I am following the Atkins Diet. Today is Day 14 for me. I haven't lost an ounce. I don't understand. Here's a typical day for me.
Breakfast: Canadian Ham with lots of melted cheese. O carbs by the labels. And black coffee. I used to eat a low carb bar, but cutting those out now.

Snack: sugar free/carb. free jello

Lunch: ground beef, soy sauce, lots of cheese. 0 carbs by the labels

Snack: sugar free/carb. free jello

Supper: Same as lunch, or I may eat some pepperoni with lots of cheese. 0 carbs by the labels.

Snack: Jello. I used to eat the carb bar and black coffee again, but I'm cutting the bars out.

Is this the right diet for me? I want to lose 15 or 20 lbs.
Please Help,
Buffy

First of all, you are only have 15 pounds to lose, so your rate of loss will be less than someone who has a lot of weight to lose.
Secondly, you say you are doing Atkins Induction, but you use the term "lots of cheese" quite a few times. Atkins in his most recent book, recommends no more than 3-4 ounces of cheese per day.
Also, where are your veggies? They seem to be missing in actions.
Another point is caffeine. Some people are sensitive to it and it will cause a spike in their insulin levels, not a good thing.
Ditto on the S/F Jello, most of it is made with aspartame, another one of "Your mileage may vary" ingredients.
You didn't mention water at all - are you drinking enough?
You might want to start a journal and list everything you are eating (including amounts). That will make it easier to critique your intake.

Thank you Atriana,
I am drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day. I will cut down on the cheese. I thought you could eat as much as you wanted. No jello? Well, I will definitely take your advice. Thanks a bunch, I need encouragement.

Buffy - Personally, I think it is probably the cheese more than any of the other things. Remember also that weight loss is more a percentage thing than actual hard numbers. A woman with 100 pounds to lose loses 10 pounds. A woman with 15 pounds to lose loses 1.5 pounds. Who lost more? Actually, they both lost 10% of the weight they need to lose, so percentage wise 10 pounds and 1.5 pounds were equivalent losses.
