Currently lifting 3-4x a week and doing some cardio. Trying to unblock the mental part and return to yoga.

45 moderate minutes on the stationary bike this morning

morning cardio - 30m stationary bike this am lifting tonight - upper body warmed up with YWTL and set CG Bench 95/6 poor form 85/6 85/6 Assist CG Chins 130/8 110/8 110/8 Pec Dec 70/12 75/12 Cable CG Rows 70/12 80/12 80/12 Pushdowns 25/15 25/15 30/15 DB Laterals 10/15 side X2, 7/10 back some forearm work Ab Machine thingy 65/20x2 chased by 20m elliptical built up a good sweat |
Exercise:
Lifting this evening, legs warmed up with some bike and a set of leg press - the horizontal one with lighter weight. Squat 65/8 65/7 70/7 SLDL 95/8x3 Leg Extensions 30/12x2 35/12 I am loving these again, enjoying for the first time since knee surgery since the whole knee doesn't 'feel' weird doing them Leg curl 60/12x3 Adductor 80/15x3 Abductor 125/15x3 Incline Sit-ups 20x2 - I really enjoyed these and thing that I might do abs more often, given my fatness I don't think it will hurt (recalling the whole 'you get a core workout with compound movements like squats' memories) chased by 20 min elliptical with 2 wee heart rate intervals tossed in, just went harder & faster to get rate up... |
