finally! my first visit from the whoosh fairy

I'm so thrilled!!

i had a 4 pound whoosh yesterday - i wasn't convinced until i weighed myself this morning & it read the same (i thought i just didn't drink enough water the day before)

it was such a great surprise, & perfect timing - an extra step towards my goal weight before christmas :spin:

THATS TERRIFIC!!!

Fantastic!! :D Wish I could get a WHOOSH about now. I've dropped just 1 lb in several days--- so now I'm thinking I might be doing something wrong again  I'm always up in the air about the fat issue (am I getting enough or should I cut down) And I don't have a calorie counter so I haven't been counting those at all. I guess when I have some time to spend I should diagnose my food journal and get a better picture.
Just curoius--- how long were you at stand still before THE WHOOSH??
CONGRATS!
Ellie

Congrats!

Gosh - I haven't had a whoosh in so long. I shouldn't complain though as the loss has been nice and steady. A four pound whoosh though, huh? :daze: Good for you! Its good to hear the success stories. Great motivation!

i hadn't actually hit a stall - i've been steadily losing (pretty much) since that beginning of November, when I got back on track with low-carbing - up until the whoosh, i was losing about 2 pounds a week (i've now lost 15 in total since the beginning of November). i was kind of expecting it because i had just got through my TOM & i usually gain 2-3 pounds (although this time i had MUCH less bloating & other symptoms in general). but to see that scale drop 4 pounds overnight was amazing

i wish it could happen more often - i'm suspecting that will be my 'one & only'
