Water

How do you keep track of how much water you drink in a day?
I'm clueless.

16.9 oz water bottles = .5L ... so I try and drink 7 of them.

take a water bottle and decise how many you want to drink in a day. If you have a 20 oz water bottle and you want to drink 80 oz a day, you need 4 bottles. Then put 4 rubber bands on the bottle at top. After drinking one complete bottle, move one rubber band down to the bottom. Repeat for each rubber band. That way you don't have to keep track in your head.

2 1-liter bottles of water is slightly over 8 cups so that's my guideline :)

I'm not a very good water drinker myself, but folks at work do very well with first deciding how much water to drink and then carrying around a special water container with them EVERYWHERE. They measure how much water goes in the container and then just keep filling it up and drinking until they have made their target for the day.

Oh! And I've seen these really cute water cooler looking small bottles at Walgreens. I think I'm going to go out an buy one.

Thanks for the post because anything that makes me think about drinking more water is very helpful!

I have been keeping a gallon jug of water in the fridge at all times. I have a 24 oz water bottle that I fill from it. When I have finished the gallon I am done for the day. I also have a pact with myself that I am not allowed to have a diet rite with dinner if its not almost empty.

I have a 52oz mug (yes... it's huge) that I got from 7-11. I fill it up in the morning at work and sometimes in the afternoon. Once I get home I drink some more.

I found that having one big mug that I fill up ensures that I drink at minimum 52oz.
