how do you add a photo to your stats.?

The pics are called avatars. Go to your profile page (click on the Profile icon at the top right of every page) .... Choose Edit Options on the menu bar. At the bottom of the options page, you'll see Avatar ... click on that, you'll be taken to a page where you can select one of the little cartoon avatars, or you can upload a custom picture from your computer. Note - the picture can be no bigger than 100 x 100 pixels, or 20 kb, whichever is smaller.

But Doreen, I've been meaning to speak to you about this. Just when are you going to see a doctor about that strange growth on your shoulder. I mean, I don't mean to make you feel self-conscious or anything, but... I mean... it's... it's... fuzzy....

They probably have an prescription ointment that will clear that right up.

to Bettie the cat. She loves jumping onto the back of my chair, then tries to get into my face all purrrrrs and fish-breath.

One of these days, I'll get around to taking a new avatar pic ... maybe not with a cat though ;)

Actually, up close, she reminds me of my cat, Tex (may she rest in peace). I took her home when she was barely 7 weeks old, so she had no clue she was a cat. She and my daughter grew up together.

All kidding aside, I think it's a very sweet picture. She looks like a total love -- a perenial kitten. I miss having a cat. My apartment won't allow them (the cretins!).

I have a bird. Dr. Nibbles, DDS (don't ask). Somehow, it's not the same.

I cant even change the avatar thing every time I change it to yes the dot disapears in the avatar that I pick. What am I doing wrong?

Terri, selecting "yes" is for the Custom avatar, which you use if you're uploading a pic from your computer.

Take a deep breath, now ... go back through the steps. Leave the "no" dot checked. It will disappear as soon as you select one of the avatar pics. Hit submit, and there you go.

No, no... not that bad at all... but just place the little paper bag over your mouth and nose and breath in and out as normally as possible....

ok did get the picture, so how do I resize my own pictures to put on here. I have one of myself (although it looks bad), but its to big
some 300 pix. Need to make it smaller.

Any photo or picture editor will do ... Windows Paint, which you should be able to find in Start > Programs > Accessories .. has simple tools which you can use to crop the picture and then shrink it down.

If you have trouble, just upload the pic "as is" into a post here, and I or Wa'il can edit and upload it for you.
