If you get diagnosed with PCOS or something similar
what does the doctor usually do? I finally have health insurance after a year of not having it and I'm curious what I might be in store for.

My doctor has prescribed me both Metformin and Spironolactone, both inexpensive supplements. (I can't tell you exactly how much, but the copay on those is drastically lower than on other meds: only $5 per month).
There was also a sonogram. My copay on that was $50. I'm probably the least informed here. I'd dig through previous posts -- there's tons of valuable information here. |
Thanks, I'm really just curious about what kind of help I can expect. I'll look around.
