Balsamic Vinegar

Okay - sorry if this has been asked before (I did google the site, but didn't find my answer), but...

What's the deal with Balsamic Vinegar?? How many carbs are in it? I can't find this info anywhere - not in the carb counter on this site, not in the USDA database. I saw a mention that MasterCook reports it at 16g carbs per cup, which would be 1g per oz or 0.5g per tbsp....

Does anyone have the definitive answer on this?

Thanks
:)

Hi - I found this on another low carb site and I believe it is what the Atkins site says also:

"vinegar - most vinegars are zero carb - white, cider and wine; balsamic vinegar is 2.0 gm per Tbsp"

I found it on Atkins.com carb counter - the one place I forgot to look!

Goofy me....

2.3g carbs and 0.1g protein per tbsp...I have made a custom food in fitday:)
