induction questions...

How bad is Jello made with Asparatame? I know Dr. Atkins suggested we not consume asparatame, but I can not find any jello out here that doesn't have it (Im in SC the breaded fried chicken, potato salad carb capital of the world).

Has anyone experienced problems with Caffiene during their induction.?

What about things not listed on induction menu, like Carb options sauces etc, if they do not have sugars are they ok?

I want to follow this, but I am getting bored with my food.

HELP!!!

Hi there!! :)

If it's not on the induction list, then it's not allowed....sorry.
I persoanlly have never had any problems with SF Jello made w/ aspartame. Some folks like to use the flavorless gelatin and then add kool aid and splenda to it but I've never gone through that much trouble for SF jello!

Good luck. :)

I use the Jello sugarfree, since we don't have any Splenda-sweetened alternative either, and I'm too much of an underachiever to do the "hard way" ...

I know it's better to forgo anything not on the list, but I think if the lc ketchup or sauces help you stick with it, they'd be no different than ranch dressing or mayo really. I wouldn't worry.

aspartame/caffiene

I was on Atkins for two months and I used the sugar free jello and kept drinking coffee. I lost three pounds in that time. So I cut out the aspartame for a month... no loss. This time I'm trying to cut the caffiene also but its going to be soooo hard. some people can do it with those things I guess I couldn't. Try it and you'll find out fast if you stall. Good Luck :D
