Nail Growth

Okay, I know this is going to sound weird, but I just noticed today how well my nails are growing. Before LCing I used to have this white spots on my nails and they were very weak. Always had to get acrylic to look like I had any. But, now I realize since going on Atkins, my nails look great. They are strong and no white spots.

Anyone else like this or am I the only one noticing minor weird things?

I'm the same way. I can't believe how strong my nails are — they used to split and crack, and actually "bend" when they got long, but now I can grow them long with no problem. They look great. It must be from all the healthy fat and protein we're eating.

My nails and hair just won't stop growing! It's great! I get so many complements on my nails! I'm so glad they look so good because I just got engaged and need to have pretty hands to show off my ring!

My hair and nails are so much nicer too! I type 50 pages a day for my job plus play the organ, so normally I have stubby broken nails that never grow. I've actually had to trim them on the Atkins. My hair is so much less dry without a change in hair care product. It tangles less too.

Same goes for me, my nails grow so fast it's a pain!! I like them short and I find everytime I look down they are long again.

It's the protien/fat combo, just another reason we need this!

Cool! I am glad I am not the only one finding little beneficial things (as well as big ones) on this WOL. :p

My nails use to curve to one side no matter how long or short. I just noticed the other day they seem to be growing straighter. I love it. I could never figure out why they started doing that about five years ago. Must have been all that carb "poisioning"
