is liquid splenda available to consumers anywhere?

DianaO Sun, May-02-04 07:15

Nope. Only to Manufacturers. I wish they would sell it in stores, the powder has a bulking adgent in it that gives it carbs

do you use this cori?

flwrfrog Mon, May-03-04 05:30

Yes. Someone else posted this link a while back and I ordered the small bottle. I haven't tried it for anything but drinks yet, and I carry it with me when I go out. But I do really like this stuff.

wow thats the first time ive heard of that stuff, man it is expensive.. but for liquid splenda thats great! Thanks for letting us know about it.

flwrfrog Mon, May-03-04 06:12

Just a warning... this stuff is EXTREMELY concentrated. Measure by drops, literally. I add like 10 drops to my DH's gallon of tea I keep in the fridge, and that's pleanty. So when following the directions IMHO start with less, and adjust to your taste.

I bought a bottle of liquid sweet-n-low and it was about the same price as the box of packets, and it lasts about half a year or even a year depending on how much you use it. Dr Atkins did approve saccharin. Just a thought. I know that liquid sucralose is $$$$$.

This is getting harder to find... Trish's site still mentions it but lists an email address to contact instead of actual order info (maybe she can still sell it through email?) -- I think we're not supposed to put URLs here, so search Google for 0 Carb Syrup-Concentrate (that's a zero at the front) or liquid splenda to find it. (The latter brings up their address as a paid link at Google. I wonder if that's causing a problem w/the company that makes Splenda--I was under the impression that people making sucralose liquids are not supposed to call it Liquid Splenda...)

Nature's Flavors used to have a similar product with a little vanilla flavoring added, but it's gone now.

I used to buy liquid sucralose from locarber.com . It is not available anylonger. No big loss IMO as it was very pricy and hard to get the dosage right. I switched to liquid sacharin which is readily available and I have no problem with aftertaste ..etc. It is very cheap, too.

Well I just ordered a bottle of liquid splenda, and im in Ontario Canada, we have it here....can you believe it.

Although she said that her supplier is having a hard time getting it now, so it may be limited, I should have bought all of it. oh well.
