FIIIInally lost 10 pounds

Ok it took awhile but I finally did it. And all of you were right, I just failed to listen. It was the Carb Smart ice cream! Gave it up Thursday and lost 3 and a half pounds by MOnday. I had not lost one pound since the end of induction in FEBRUARY. From now on I promise that I will listen to y'all, I just thought I'd be the one person that could still eat that on a regular basis and be fine....well guess not. :)

Congrats.. sorry you had to give up something you love so much though. Here is a link for a site with loads of homemade ice creams http://www.carb-lite.au.com/71DESSE...ssertsmenu.html I finally just broke down and bought myself one of those ice cream makers that don't need the salt or ice so I could make my own ice cream without the added sugars and sugar alcohols. Might be something nice to treat yourself to during the upcoming warm months. :)

My son recently had oral sugery so I had to come up with cold things for him to eat. I made this, and we all LOVE it. It's more like a too thick shake, but it's great.

1c frozen fruit(my fav is mixed berry)
1/2c lo-carb vanilla yogurt
AS to taste (i used about a T. splenda)
1/4c cream (just enough to get it smooth)
Pulse and blend first 3 ingrediants in a food processor, add cream as needed. Option... add about 1-2oz cream cheese!YUM!

My son also enjoyed "milkshakes" made with "Keto" shake powder and frozen fruit. His favorite... blueberries and banana cream Keto shake.

1c water
2 scoops Keto shake powder
1c blueberries
All ingrediends in food processor.

Playing with the different fruits and shake flavors is the fun part.

These probably have more carbs than most ppl want on a daily basis, but they're a great, and I think healthy, ocassional treat.
