Is this for real??

I went out for dinner on Sunday, after Jet-Skiing all day. I broke down and had two small rolls. So later that night, I checked to see if I was out of ketosis, and I wasn't. I also checked Monday morning and Monday night and I was still in ketosis. What is up with that??

You can't fully trust those ketosis sticks....you can often just pee out some of the fat in the meal that you ate..
Just my 2 cents.

Hi Justin,

It could be a couple of things - I don't jet ski, but imagine that involves a pretty high level of physical activity - if you had low carbs except for the rolls, it's probable that you used enough energy throughout the day to keep you in ketosis despite the rolls. Also some people will stay in ketosis at relatively high levels so depending on the carbs in the rolls (you did say they were small) it might not have been enough to send you out of it - but don't take that as to mean you could eat them every day and not be affected. Another thing is, did you have any alcohol with that resturaunt dinner?? having alcohol with very few carbs in the day can cause the stix to show ketosis.

Cool.. Yeah there's alot of phyiscal energy involved. They were small rolls, and I had no beer or anything. Come to think of it I had nothing really to eat all that day, so that must have been the cause.

Yeah, you probably burned those rolls off just as soon as your stomach was able to digest them.

You are continuing to burn fat even after eating some carbs. With all of that physical activity you would have still been in ketosis even if you'd have eaten . Shame on you for not eating.
