What are the ingredients in microwavable pork rinds?

I was looking at the J&J critters and one of the things I read was that they try and put as few additives as possible and no MSG, so I was wondering if anyone can please tell me what the ingredients are for them since I cant find them online.

Thanks,
MJ

Hi MJ,
I don't have the same brand you were asking about. The Lowrey's micowave pork rinds hot & spicy list the ingredients as:
pork rinds, salt, maltodextrin, monosodium glutamate, flavorings, dextrin, oleoresin paprika.

serving size 1/2 oz (crazy size, like someone eats 1/2 oz of pork rinds!) carb less than 1 g, calories 60, calories from fat 15, sodium 350 mg

hopes this helps.

I never had pork rinds before but I thought they just had salt and pork rinds.

This brand has lots of no nos:
maltodextrin (a sugar  )
monosodium glutamate (MSG --bad stuff  )
dextrin (a sugar  too, I think..can someone confirm?)

Stay away lc-ers.

I agree with you red1cutie. Most of the pork rinds, especially any flavored ones, have added sugars and all kinds of stuff added. Then they put the serving size so low on the package so they can still say 0 carbs. Lots of lc-ers think of them as a "free" snack food. Some plain ones might not have as many things added - just another good reason for us all to read the labels.
