HELP! Cactus Club Ordering Tips Needed
 

Hey Everyone,

I'm going out to dinner at the Cactus Club tomorrow, and it's with some folks in front of whom I'd rather not be grilling the waiters forever :D Definitely not an occasion that I want to get into explaing too much about my food choices. I don't mind making special requests (i.e. no croutons in a salad, or no fries etc,) but I don't want to spend ages asking if there's sugar in the seasoning, or thickeners in the sauce etc.

Can anyone make suggestions about what they know from previous visits to be safe?

Any help GREATLY, and I mean GREATLY appreciated :)

I've never been to Cactus Club but their menu is posted online -- they show the ingredients beside each menu item so you should be able to order without spending the whole evening questioning the wait staff! Have fun -- looks like a great place to eat!

Not been since last year but from memory, you're gonna be limited to steaks, burgers (without buns) and salads without croutons, but just get them to replace the fries (mmmmmmm sea salted fries) with salads

Their szechwan beans are so nummy but now that I think about it they make have sugar in the sauce, although I maybe not because I've made those at home from recipes and they were mostly just soy sauce and hot pepers.

The cesear salad is my favorite resteraunt cesear without a doubt.
